The work undertaken by the Association has been recognised and acknowledged by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission
(ACNC) which granted the Association with a public benevolent institution to the charity registration. This status has automatically granted the Association with a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status.
