Join Us

The association is open not only to members of the Macedonian Community but also to all the people who live in Australia. If you wish to become a member you can apply by sending the application to the following address info@svarhgavril.com. You will need two referrals from your current or previous working colleagues. The application must be accompanied by a $20 membership fee. All the proceeds from the membership fee are intended to cover the annual expenses related to the Department of Fair trading reporting requirements.

Macedonians are described as generous people in the New Testament by Apostol Paul in his second addressing to Corinthians:

“We want you to know, brothers, about the grace of God that has been given among the churches of Macedonia, for in a severe test of affliction, their abundance of joy and their extreme poverty have overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part. For they gave according to their means, as I can testify, and beyond their means, of their own accord, begging us earnestly for the favor of taking part in the relief of the saints— and this, not as we expected, but they gave themselves first to the Lord and then by the will of God to us”
